SESA has partenered with the Burlington Area YMCA to offer the Recreational League. The Rec league has seperate spring and fall seasons. Ages u6(limited space)- u15. Teams play small sided games; 4v4 or 7v7. Small sided games are used to increase the amount of time each player will average during a game and gets players more involved in the game. Registration is open for all players- no restriction based on school or living address. Teams are divided evenly to improve the competitive and developmental experiences of all players. Each team has a volunteer coach that is given supplemental resources by the SESA staff. All games are played at the Burlington RecPlex. The final weekend is the Cushman cup tournament for ages u12+. Players recieve a team shirt for their uniform to be worn at games. Ages U8 and U10 also recieve professional coaching by SESA staff coaches during their SESA Skills training sessions.
