The Girls High School Select program currently has 2 seperate teams, a 17u and 19u. Both teams are coached by Assistant Director of Coaching Baret Ertzinger, and assistant coached by John Wagner. Baret brings over a decade of coaching experience, including being a women's college coach, in addition to his years of playing. John brings a vast amount of experience and knowledge of the game and is also a high school boys coach. Both teams train together and share some players for ISL and tournament games. This unique set up allows players to move around and get addition playing time at different levels, ensuring that they are able to get as much develomentally appropriate playing time as possible. The 17u girls focus on skill mastery and positional specification as they work to refine their game. The 19u girls are focused on the fine details of their game and applying them towards showcaseing their ability. They train in specific positions and look towards playing in high school and college. 7 of the 10 senior girls have committed to playing at the college level, and all players are on college recruiting lists. SESA is the perfect program for all area girls players who want to improve and enjoy playing soccer, with more than 6 new players joining last fall. This is an amazing group of palyers and always looking to bring in additional players who are passionate about soccer.
