Instructor: Alec Clark
Cost is $60. Make checks payable to Iowa Referee Committee (IRC).
Bring paper and pen/pencil.

Important: Prior to the class, please complete the online Grade 8 Referee Course Modules. They take approximately 2 hours to complete. You can go at your own pace too. They are an excellent resource to prepare you for this Instructor-led Entry-Level Referee Class. Use ALC-080319 for the Clinic Number.

Note: Go to OSI Referee Starter Kits to order a Referee Starter Kit from Official Sports International.

Comments: Any and all parents are welcome to attend at no cost unless they decide to become certified. Parents do not have to have a participant in the class.

Regarding Registration: Be sure that your e-Mail address is unique. You cannot be assigned games if you share an e-Mail address with a family member who is also a referee.

I will do my utmost to assist my fellow officials to better themselves and their work.

I will not make statements about any games except to clarify an interpretation of the Laws of the Game.


I will not discriminate against nor take undue advantage of any individual group on the basis of race, color, religion, sex or national origin.

I consider it a privilege to be a part of the United States Soccer Federation and my actions will reflect credit upon that organization and its affiliates.
